Cops CAN NOT give you ANYTHING, or the other racer, unless BOTH are caught AT the site. It is ILLEGAL for them to send you anything in the mail like a ticket, maybe a warning, but no ticket or anyhting. Anyway, it is highly doubtful that he even got your plates. I had a similar story. I raced a neon R/t with a 100 shot of nitrous (later i found out he works at a local shop, and is now a major hook up of mine). Anyway, the Caddy pulls ahead, of course ... and then when we're up to like 60, I see the lights...and I was like OH SHIT..first time ever stopped racing. BUT, I was AHEAD of the neon, who pulled over. Then my friend, in shotgun was like, "Why the hell are you pulling over!?!? THey aint stoppin YOU!" So i was like, shit, get me outta here - and thats what I did. Went to visit my neon friend 3 weeks later, first time i met him in person, and he shook my hand for a good race, and for not stopping, because if I would have stopped, we both would have gotten nailed with $300 tix and 6 pnts...he would have lost his liscense.
